I have always
wanted to help people. I grew up in Fairfax, VA, the oldest of three
daughters. I’d often imagine myself teaching. I’d line up my dolls
and stuffed animals and teach them anything I could think of to teach them.
I had a
Vision of making a difference.
After
graduating from high school, I attended GMU and then JMU, starting out majoring
in psychology and then switching to speech pathology, wanting to see clear,
measurable differences in children’s improvement.
I got married
within a year and a half after graduating, worked as a speech pathologist in
Prince George County, VA. Mike was a probation officer. After two
years, we quit those jobs, dropped everything, and moved to Fresno, CA, where
we worked with a ministry, teaching Bible classes. I also taught speech
pathology there for two years and Mike got his Master’s degree and had a window
cleaning business. Moved back across country to work with the ministry
for two years, had our first son, Paul. Moved back to VA. Began
teaching speech pathology again for Fairfax Co. Did that for 10
years. Our second son David was born during that time.
And then
everything changed.
Paul was 15. David was 10. I was stressed. I got sick.
Very sick. Chest pains, heart palpitations, low blood sugar, migraine
headaches, extreme fatigue, depression, PMS, joint pain, muscle pain,
dizziness. Other than that, “I was just fine.” My sister kept
bugging me about taking these vitamins. I blew her off, because I had
tried lots of vitamins that didn’t make a difference. Finally, I listened
and began taking Shaklee. Within one month, I noticed a huge
difference. Within three months, all of those health issues were
gone, completely gone. And, fast forwarding, I breezed right through
menopause. (And now, at the age of 63, I can honestly say I feel 100
times better than I had felt at the age of 43, when everything was falling
apart.)
I began sharing
my story with everyone and earned a part-time income with Shaklee while still
teaching school
Within a year,
I left Fairfax County and continued to build my business (still teaching – a
new subject – wellness – OPTIMAL WELLNESS).
So, here we are
20 years later. Optimal Wellness has become our main six-figure income
career. We will be able to will my Shaklee income 100% intact to our
sons. My husband Mike was able to retire from his stressful job.
We’ve enjoyed two bonus cars from Shaklee, eight trips to places like Hawaii, a
cruise, Mexican resorts – all expenses paid. We own a lake home at Lake
Monticello near Charlottesville, as well as a condo at the National Harbor in
Maryland.
But, by far, my
greatest happiness and reward comes from collecting stories. I’m a
story collector. Stories about peoples’ lives who have changed
because of Shaklee.
What is
Shaklee? Shaklee is the #1 Natural Nutrition Company in the Nation.
It was started by Dr. Forrest C. Shaklee in 1956 when he was 61 years
old. The story of Dr. Shaklee’s life is remarkable. With three
degrees, he was a doctor, minister, philosopher, businessman, entrepreneur,
pioneer, author and inventor – A man born before his time. Read about his
personal story of being healed of cancer. For 60 years, The Shaklee Difference
has carried through in scientific research of our products, which has always
been a hallmark of quality and integrity. Simply stated, the products
work. Safely.
What do I
do? I’m looking for stories to create. Simply stated, I look for
people who want to change their health story. Who are ready to be
well. And, since there is not enough of me to go around to “change the world”, I also train a team to do what I do,
both locally and in other states who want a stream of income.
How do I do
that? I schedule individual consult appointments and I also do
group health talks and business presentations.
I match the
products to the needs and Shaklee does the rest. I have nutritional
supplements, green cleaners, personal care products, skin care systems and
water purifiers.
I’ve collected
literally thousands of stories in the past 20 years. Stories that give
people hope.
I’d love to
know your story. I’m here for you.
How can I be
of help to you or anyone you know?
TO YOUR GOOD
HEALTH ~
Becky
