RENEWAL!!
My name is Cynthia Schneider, and I was invited to share with
you how Shaklee’s nutritional supplements and educational resources are helping
me to successfully RENEW my body & soul.
I began this wellness journey last August with Becky O’Brien, my
dear friend & mentor of 30+ years, and a very successful 20 year Shaklee
consultant. Her encouragement has been
essential in helping me to renew my commitment to honor my vessel by nurturing
and caring for it in harmony with the natural principles of our Creator.
Since Sept 3, 2014, I have officially lost over 30 pounds, my
cholesterol levels improved by over 10% (in the 1st 4 months), my
physical vitality and abilities to exercise more efficiently are increased by
over 200%,
AND I found a much needed glowing confidence in myself -
particularly in the ability to maintain these healthy achievements, because
they have been relatively simple to integrate into my life.
A little history – I have been a proponent of holistic living
for most of my life BUT I had allowed myself to find a variety of reasons to
excuse my excess weight and increasing cholesterol as acceptable; as well as to excuse myself from properly
caring for my body & nurturing my soul for the sake of other good causes.
My rationalizations included -
I am in my late 50’s, I’ve birthed 4 children, I have been devoted to
the demands of raising my family while working to help build a successful
business, it’s ok I can still fit into my clothes – and vests cover bulges
:)
I also had a fear of dieting due to a battle in my youth with
bulimia.
Then last summer after a series of heartbreaking life blows I
realized my body & soul needed RENEWal and so I reached out to Becky -
because of the trust I have in her, and the long standing integrity of Shaklee
products.
We met for a complementary wellness assessment last August and
she helped me develop a long term plan that felt realistic, balanced, and
manageable – which again was very important to me given my unhealthy history
with “dieting” fads.
The plan included
1.) A consult with her recommended nutritionist to
identify my personal nutritional needs
2.) The 8 day
Rejuvenating Body Cleanse
3.) The
introduction of Shaklee nutritional supplements – which have been given me
added confidence that I am getting proper nutritional elements while limiting
my caloric intake.
My guiding principle has been 1 step is better than no step.

Exercise
– I began with walks of about 1 mile and now enjoy walking 3 to
5 miles, 3 to 5 times a week, or exercising indoors on a stationary bike or
Fitness Blender routine.
