Shaklee is just too expensive!! I agree. BUT…you won’t believe why.

A little background to set the stage: During my late teens and early 20's I suffered with chronic bacterial & fungal infections (multiple types, multiple systems) with no known cause. I had exploratory surgery THREE times...more questions, no answers. I was poked and probed and medicated way too often. I was on antibiotics so often (for bacterial infections), they stopped working effectively. My next, and only remaining option if I continued needing regular antibiotic treatment, was IV antibiotics. Specialists told me I was a mystery, ultimately confessing that they didn’t know what else to do, but that they could just continue to "try" different things to see if we could find something, anything, to help me. Just throw mud at the wall and see what sticks???

In addition to conventional medicine, I also saw a chiropractor regularly (which I believe helped more than anything else during those years), took vitamins and herbs (tried lots of types, brands, etc.), had acupuncture treatments, and underwent intensive and specialized physical therapy. Looking back now, I realize my diet wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. I "survived" through those years (nearly a decade), and ultimately ended up believing as long as I didn't have an infection, I was healthy.

Enter my introduction to Shaklee: Needless to say, by the time I was introduced to Shaklee, I was jaded and cynical. I believe my exact words (watching someone about to take their Shaklee supplements) were, "What is all that CRAP you're taking?!" The lady kindly responded, "They’re not crap, they’re Shaklee." Oh great, another one of "those" people, the ones who think their stuff is SO different. I’d heard all I needed to hear in that short exchange to dismiss Shaklee and move on. But a seed had been planted, and over time, my curiosity watered it.

Long story short, after a time and some searching, I decided, skeptically, to try those over-priced "pills." I mean, they offered a money-back guarantee, so why not? That was in 2002…12 years ago. In all the time since then, I've only required medical treatment for bacterial infections twice (and once was because a Shaklee product I use daily was unavailable for an extended period of time). So why did Shaklee fly in the face of all reason and ACTUALLY WORK? It certainly wasn’t because they were more or less expensive than the other brands I’d tried.

The evidence: Read on if you'd like to know what I spent years researching and learning and coming to KNOW 1st hand.

* Shaklee only develops and produces products proven by real research, real testing, and real results ON THE VERY PRODUCTS they produce (most other companies borrow 3-party research, which says absolutely nothing about their ingredients, formulations, or products). Shaklee has spent close to 300 million in R&D, more than the next largest companies combined!

* Shaklee only uses ingredients THEY scrutinize (they don't take the word of supplier certifications). Shaklee performs 100,000 quality tests a year to ensure purity and potency (350 tests on every botanical ingredient for harmful contaminants and 240 more tests for pesticides than required by the US Pharmacopeia, just to name a couple).

* Shaklee goes even further than other companies by testing THEIR FINAL PRODUCTS (most companies only test before, and some during production, if at all). The final product is what you can count on with Shaklee. That’s why the one-of-a-kind Landmark Study done by researchers at the University of California Berkley School of Public Health and published in Nutrition Journal, showed that people who took Shaklee supplements had markedly better health than those who didn’t. As Shaklee says, "Plenty of companies claim their products work. But at Shaklee, we prove it."

* Speaking of studies, Shaklee has nearly 100 PEER-REVIEWED scientific studies, on Shaklee products. That means the research, processes, conclusions, etc are heavily scrutinized, and the studies can be duplicated with the same results expected. In other words, the science is real and worthwhile. NO OTHER COMPANY compares to Shaklee when it comes to real science.

* If there's an ingredient that doesn't live up to Shaklee’s standards, they will simply stop production and remove the product from availability UNTIL such time they can secure quality ingredients. That means NO compromise for safety or efficacy to make a profit...ever!

* Shaklee develops and brings to market what NO other nutritional company can, in ways NO other company can, and have for nearly 60 years!!

* The FDA only has praise for Shaklee, and has NEVER issued a recall for any Shaklee product…in their nearly 60 year production history…that’s unheard of in the nutrition industry!

* Big Pharma doesn't care for Shaklee, and for good reason. The more people take charge of their health and wellness by using quality, safe, natural options like the ones Shaklee offers, the more serious a threat to profit for drug companies. And just as a side note (here’s a freebie), the next time you’re watching TV and a drug commercial comes on, close your eyes and just listen. Those pesky side effects (including death for some) are so slickly masked by happy, smiling people. Perhaps this is why drugs are never marketed on the radio. Time to take the masks off. The bottom line: I passionately share Shaklee because it’s a gift…of restoration, hope, healing, and so much more. I am honored to help others explore their options and become informed consumers, which is why I offer free consultations, program and dietary recommendations, lunch tastings, etc. In today's drug-dependant and "counterfeit" natural products market, it's so very easy to be jaded and skeptical...I know!! I quite literally tried it ALL (and remained ill for nearly a decade) before I finally found something that worked…Shaklee. That was 12 years ago and I thank GOD every single day!!

Over the last 12 years, I’ve gained such a wealth of knowledge and experience and had the privilege of helping many others reclaim their health and quality of life. I believe my entire journey, from illness to health, and everything in between, is divine by design…so that I could be who I am and know what I know today…to help.

Is Shaklee really too expensive? I guess it all depends on how much you value your health, safety, and quality of life. Health, good or bad, will cost you something…it’s largely up to you how you pay for it!

Are you ready to take action with what’s been laid before you? I’m ready to help.
